ABOUT

Welcome to this little corner of the internet

A bit about me: I love art. I love human health and medicine. I love exploring the various unions between these two practices, creating unique interdisciplinary connections, and utilizing a dose of mindfulness to offer a sense of self-awareness, exploration, and healing.

After graduating from Vanderbilt University (B.A., Studio Art + Medicine, Health & Society), I embarked on a journey through South Asia explore the intersection of healing, mind-body medicine, and installation art thanks to the Margaret Stonewall Wooldridge Hamblet Award. Inquiring deeper into the practice of healing, I am presently in my final year of medical school at Columbia University in New York after a two-year stint in public health consulting.

As it turns out, the privilege of caring for others, witnessing some of life's most heartrending moments in the hospital, and rigorously immersing in physiologic and health systems concepts serves as a lifelong teacher and ongoing impetus for creating art. Of this sort of school I will always be a student; the ability to learn through creating and simply partake in the act of creating is life-affirming.
